I just got Pro Tools but wanted to try some other plug ins... any ideas on good ones and not too expensive would be good.

I was at a Pro Tools Demo anda couple people mentioned plug ins from McDSP. Im not sure of the cost but check them out at http://www.mcdsp.com

By the way, Mac or PC?

I've tried about a hundred of them and there is a pack of them called Blue Line that are shareware. And they are pretty darn good considering the price. There is a great compressor and a very nice delay as well as several others.

The Blue Line plug ins are not for the Protools system yet. There are very few plug ins for the Protools LE system, and even fewer still if your on a PC... and if you want them cheap... well there is no such thing. VST and DX plug ins are not supported with in Protools.
