I’d really like a simple, all-in-one audio interface solution to my home recording system. I could get a decent sound card and mixer….or one of the USB interfaces with pre amps. I’m leaning toward the USB because I’ve got about $300 to spend and not much more. I’ve narrowed my list a bit and am seeking opinions on a couple of products:

Aaardvark’s Direct Mix USB3

M-Audio’s Audiosport Duo

My needs are really simple. Don’t need MIDI. Only really need 1 or 2 TRS ins. Anybody have any experience with either of these products? I’ve also looked at the Yamaha UW 500, but I’ve heard their pre amps aren’t all that great…but it does offer more ins and out, plus MIDI.

Anyone? Hepp me out here!

Check out the Edirol UA-3 USB Audio Interface for under $200. It might work.
