very nice work on that guitar...I like it a lot! total arrangement is kick butt... my little pitiful mp3 sounds kinda pitiful indeed compared to this...lol I am listening to kingsqueens since everyone seemed to like that one. You are a very talented guitarist! Rock ON!

I have no idea which album...I just saw it at tabcrawler.com. Why dont you play in a band? Unless you're the 'yngwie Malmsteen' type, its always more fun to play with friends. Are you over 20? or very old (like so many people on this board?!) Dont get me wrong! Just curious coz you said you've been playing for 10 years (but then again, maybe you started at 7, so you'd be around the same age as me, but with 9 years more experiance!! )

I do have a band...we play crossover metal..kinda like faith no more meets sepultura meets dream theater kinda thing...we've got two albums out already... I also have a jazz trio that i'm working on. Right now i'm getting into jazz stuff like : tribal tech, Alan holdsworh, pat metheney etc..etc..because the more i study about music (scale, chords, arangements etc..) the more interest i have in jazz. Age doesn't really seem to matter..esp in music to me, it's how much you are willing to learn/study and how well you learn/study..which leads to determination. I would love to go on and on and on....you get what i mean.. j.lii i'm getting close to 30 by the way

Hey, J.lii, I just listened to your stuff and I gotta tell ya, it's some pretty awesome guitar! To my ears, I hear echoes of Vai and Satriani to be sure, but some of your lines sound like Frank Gambale, with his sweep picking technique. Have you listened to Frank at all? I think you definitely have the chops to do some jazz stuff. I'm also a big Pat Metheny fan (I actually post quite a bit in the "Garage" on his web site, it's a cool site.) I'm a guitar player also and into rock, jazz, blues, basically anything with great guitar! I come here to check out some rock stuff, but your stuff is the best guitar I have heard on the site, and there is a bunch of great guitar stuff on onlinerock. But I have one thing I wanted to mention to you. When I listen to music on onlinerock, I don't have to deal with all the annoying bullshit that happens when you go to MP3.com, which is why I pretty much never go there. FYI, just now when I went to hear your stuff, I had to put up with three different pop-up advertisements that were very long and you couldn't click them off! Plus, I had to answer questions before I could listen! This is totally unacceptable to me to have to deal with bullshit like that in order to listen to a couple of tunes. Why don't you put up a page here, insted of linking to your MP3.com page? It would actually be better for people to be able to listen to your music without anything getting in the way. I'm sorry, but I hate MP3.com! They're just so corporate, and all the advertising and hoops you gotta jump through just to listen to a couple of awesome tunes! And you know I'm going to start getting spam from them now! It sucks! Sorry, I digressed. Anyway, your stuff is very, very good and I wish you the best of luck!
