Hey There,

Is the Internet music revolution over? Or, is the revolution is just beginning? It's hard to tell just which way to turn when you are standing at the crossroads, isn't it? Our own Virtual Musician is down at the crossroads contemplating the future. Don't worry, we won't let him sell his soul but we will let him vent his opinion. Hopefully we'll all learn from the tale of Robert Johnson. Check out his latest by clicking here .

If you're at the crossroads or just on the road, you can always check your Email at OnlineRock. When you became a member of OnlineRock, you automatically received a free Web based Email that can be accessed from any Web browser. Your Email address is [USERNAME]@onlinerock.com. Just go to OnlineRock and click on the check Email link and enter your username and password.

Gear Corner: This week we feature the Behringer Eurorack MXB1002 10 Channel Mixer . This mixer is portable and great for remote recording or performing situations. In each newsletter we will focus on a piece of equipment , an instructional video or some software that we feel is of importance to our members. Click on the links to see some recommended gear. If you have a product that you'd like to see featured, just drop us a line.

Forum Question: Even the Wall Street Journal sees the need to find musicians. A recent article in this prominent news publication focuses on bands that can't find a drummer. This week we ask, "How do you find musicians and which ones are the hardest to find?" As always, OnlineRock is interested in your comments related to the world of music and the music industry. From time to time, we'll pose a different question in hopes of hearing your input. Click here to post your opinion.

Speaking of looking for a new band member or selling an old guitar, the OnlineRock Sounding Board is always open. Post all of your music-related comments there. Whether you're looking for tips on home recording or just want to vent your opinions, the OnlineRock Sounding Board is the place to do it.

Featured Artists: This week, OnlineRock profiles Dede SP, a bass player from Bandung, Indonesia. Bassists such as Billy Sheehan, Jaco Pastorius, and Geddy Lee, influence him. If you or your band would like to be profiled at OnlineRock, all you have to do is build a Web site at OnlineRock, have a great photo, and fill out the profile form .

OnlineRock's featured MP3 comes from Simon and Dave, members of The Hybrid. "If Now I Died" represents some of their solo work. Our featured site is "The Shadow Cats", playing your favorite oldies, classic rock, and southern rock...with a touch of country, too! If you have a site or MP3 you'd like OnlineRock to check out, drop our Webmaster a line at webmaster@onlinerock.com

Rock on!
