SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST - In just over six weeks the annual pilgrimage to Austin, Texas will take place again. Musicians, Labels, and other music business types will congregate for a few days in the "Live Music Capital of the World". Once again OnlineRock will have a booth there. We understand that the logistics of attending SXSW do not work for many people. The costs associated with the show and travel can get pretty high. However, we've been talking to a few people who would like us to distribute some information about their band while we are there. FORUM QUESTION - I've been thinking about this ever since I purchased the Boss GT 6 Guitar Effect Processor. I am also looking to upgrade my amplifier but with the amp modeling controls on this processor as well as on others like it, such as the Line 6 Pod, do I need a traditional guitar amp or do I just need to get some speakers that can reproduce the sound coming from the effects, something similar to a keyboard amplifier?
