Greetings,
This month we have a couple new articles up on the site. The first comes from Chris Standring and its title is “How to Help the Music Industry Take You Seriously.” What Chris addresses here is the power of professional package submission. All too many artists will literally throw something together and hope for the best. A poorly put together package reeks of laziness - a trait that no artist can possibly expect to live with today. It's just too competitive. And most importantly we want to know that you're serious dammit! If you're not serious how can you expect any music industry person to take you seriously? Read the entire article at:
http://www.onlinerock.com/howto/professionalpackage.shtml The next article comes from Tom Leu as part of our Musician’s Corner segment at it’s entitles “Radio and Records.” This was actually supposed to go up last year but was misfiled. Tom recently attended a music conference in Nashville where he gained some interesting insights about the radio and record business relationship. How do radio stations decide what artists and singles to play? Unless you’re getting regular airplay on stations across the country, you might want to read on.

It has its own sound and energy. It is organic and strong. Fur Mina finally made the conceptual rock album they always wanted to make together. This album is special. It tells a rich story with melody and raw emotion. Take a listen at:
