Greetings,
Few people in the music industry are as busy or accomplished as Adrian Belew. The list of people with whom he's worked is a "Who's Who" of the music world. King Crimson, Talking Heads, Frank Zappa, David Bowie, Trent Reznor and Paul Simon are only just a few. With two releases already this year, Side One and Side Two, and Side Three which will be released early next year, there is no stopping this musical troubadour. I was able to chat with Adrian Belew by phone in the middle of his latest tour which is now heading out West. You can catch one of his shows at:
Oct 04 - Scottsdale, AZ - Martini Ranch
Oct 05 - Solana Beach, CA - Belly Up Tavern
Oct 06 - San Juan Capistrano, CA - Coach House
Oct 07 - West Hollywood, CA - Key Club
Oct 08 - San Francisco, CA - Slim's
Oct 10 - Portland, OR - Aladdin Theater

http://www.songwritingcompetition.com FEATURED CD – Laserdogs, the latest musical outing from Greg Lounsberry offers up “Frankinclown” as this month’s featured CD. This is what happens when you leave somebody (who is really messed up), unguarded in a studio full of guitars and microphones. Where else might you go to hear songs about a plague of Japanese ghosts? Dating in 400 B.C. China? A hideous monster stitched together from old Clown Parts? Anyone up for a little Chinese surf music? Let us not forget the 17 minute plus "Those Crazy Bots" as it chronicles the benign robotic invasion of earth. Take a listen at:
