We’re working on getting some updates done to our web site so we’ll keep this month’s newsletter short. We should have the updates in place by next month if everything goes according to plan. FORUM QUESTION – With all of the online music stores such as iTunes, eMusic and MSN selling music in a downloadable format and the success of portable players such as the iPod, do compact discs have a future in the music industry? I recently got rid of my CD player in my car and exchanged it with an iPod connector. Although I still buy CDs, I’ve been purchasing more music on iTunes. Bands have long supplemented their tours by selling CDs but if people would rather buy singles as a download, how does this change how indie bands survive?
