The Performance Plus MCT-1S switchable inline transformer connects a low-impedance microphone with a male XLR plug or guitar cable to a 1/4" high-impedance amplifier or mixer input jack. The MCT-1S can be used to convert the low-impedance signal (Lo-Z) to a high-impedance (Hi-Z) device. The MCT-1S is switchable from low to high or from high to low and includes a 6" pigtail cable to prevent strain on the phone plug. Allows you to use a high-impedance mic with an XLR cable in an amp with only 1/4" inputs. Great if you want to use your guitar amp for vocals or want to mic an instrument with a guitar or bass amplifier that has only standard 1/4" phone input jacks. Also great for emergency situations if your PA fails and you need to use your guitar amp for backup.
