The Godin A5 Semi Acoustic bass with synth access, features the endless sonic possibilities brought to you by Custom Godin electronics. The A5 is equipped with an under-saddle ribbon transducer and preamp by L.R.Baggs, and a 13-pin output jack, allowing the player to connect to a multitude of 13-pin devices and computers via MIDI.

The A5 also produces superb acoustic bass sounds from an instrument that is only slightly larger than a standard solid body bass and much lighter. The 2-chambered body design resists feedback as well as the negative effects that loud stage levels can have on top vibration. Vibration of the solid cedar top is further controlled by a cello inspired bracing pattern.
