A vintage look with modern playability.
This 1960 Stratocaster Light Relic Masterbuilt is a one-off from The Fender Custom Shop crafted by Master
Builder Jason Smith.
The 1960 Stratocaster Masterbuilt features a lightweight alder body with a 3-tone sunburst nitrocellulose
lacquer finish given a Light Relic treatment—the finish shows minimal natural wear from years of light use, with some
body checking on a guitar that otherwise looks like it's been well-preserved since the '60s. The body is fitted with a quartersawn
maple neck with a luxurious vintage tint, a '60s C-shape, and a 9.5" radius dark rosewood fretboard with tall and narrow 6105
jumbo frets. Modern upgrades include a trio of '60s Strat pickups with a 5-way switch and rear tone control wired to the bridge
pickup provide the complete range of tones from mellow to malevolent. The 1960 Stratocaster Light Relic Masterbuilt electric
guitar comes with a brown hardshell case and Custom Shop certificate.
