The crown jewel of the 20th anniversary series.

The Gibson J-250 Monarch Acoustic Guitar boasts ultra-exclusive amenities in a stunning and extremely limited anniversary package. Only 2 of these 20th anniversary guitars will ever be made. The J-250 Monarch is built on a super jumbo style platform for a big, beautiful design. The response can accommodate anything from aggressive chording to gentle finger movements. Deep, round tones flow from J-250 guitar with fat, vibrant mid frequencies for outstanding sound in any group setting.

This J-250 acoustic is equipped with a solid Sitka spruce top, yielding tremendous balance in the bass, mid, and high frequencies, and ideal tone to accommodate either fingerpicking or flatpicking. The 3-piece Madagascar rosewood back and sides offer remarkable beauty and powerful resonance. The Gibson Monarch's body and top are connected with hide glue, ensuring the guitar's longevity.

Gibson dresses the J-250 with ornamental beauty in the headstock inlays, binding, tuners, and rosette. The headstock is adorned with a mother-of-pearl and abalone custom crown inlay, a handmade Monarch crown truss cover, and a real 2.5mm diamond gem dotting the "I" in the Gibson headstock logo inlay (inserted by Gibson master luthier Ren Ferguson). The volute headstock adds strength to the guitar, with a brilliant mother-of-pearl numbered scroll inlay that certifies the Monarch's authenticity (all custom Monarchs have been numbered in sequence since their creation by Gibson in the 1990s, this one being only the 45th ever made). Cutsom wide Monarch abalone trim lines the top, back, and sides, while the hand-engraved gold Waverly tuners keep the guitar in tune with an unbelievable luster. As an added bonus, a special certificate accompanies this model identifying it as a 20th Anniversary Monarch model, placing this guitar in very exclusive company.

The J-250 Monarch guitar comes out of the box ready to make your jaw drop. It has the feel of an antique 6-string Gibson handed down through the generations, though the luxurious appointments may suggest otherwise. The antique natural lacquer finish gives the 20th anniversary Monarch a center-stage presence from top to bottom that you will love from the minute you get it in your hands.
