A stunning one-of-a-kind quilted hollowbody.
This exceptional one-off hollowbody guitar was originally crafted in the late 1950s especially to accommodate
the short-statured comedian/musician George Gobel. The L-5 CT Quilt has a thinner-than-customary 2-3/8" L-5 body with a spruce
top with f-holes, a beautiful bubbled quilted back with matching quilted rims. The set-in C-shaped maple neck has a 25-1/2"-scale
ebony fretboard with a 12" radius. This stunning version of the L-5 CT has a beautiful natural finish; body, neck, and headstock
binding; a 1960-style Florentine cutaway, and the BJB floating pickup that produces a warm, round, and articulate tone for
peerless jazz flavor.
