Luscious woods and modern luthier artistry.
The Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 Electric Guitar has a special 25" scale length coupled with a comfortable
regular neck shape giving this instrument exceptional playability. The Custom 24 guitar wears a charcoal burst finish that
shows off the beautifully carved, figured maple top—a hallmark of PRS guitars. Abalone bird inlays adorn the 24-fret
rosewood fingerboard and a natural maple body edge highlights the classic PRS Custom mahogany body. All hardware is nickel
including the PRS tremolo bridge.
The PRS 57/08 pickups deliver both vintage and modern sounds. In 2008 PRS obtained
exclusive rights to the original pickup wire used in the most revered pickups of the '50s. 1957 was the year the humbucker
pickup was first commercially available, hence the 1957/2008 name.
