The LA460 combines EAW's Virtual Array Technology with the LA concept. By horn-loading both the mid- and high frequency subsystems the LA460 provides 60 degrees horizontal coverage over a wide frequency range. The LA460 is a 3-way full range system in a trapezoidal enclosure. It includes a vented 15" woofer a horn-loaded 8" midrange cone and a 1.4" exit/1.75" voice coil compression driver on a 60 degrees x 45 degrees constant directivity horn. The powering mode is switchable: full passive or bi-amplified with a passive low/mid crossover.

The LA460 Applies EAWs' Virtual Array Technology to a small venue system for both portable applications and permanent installations. With EAW's mathematically correct midrange flare pattern control is maximized throughout the vocal region providing exceptional vocal intelligibility in a compact enclosure.
