System allows the shell to vibrate freely, allowing maximum projection and resonance. The bass drum's non-penetrating I.T.S. double tom holder isolates the bass drum shell from any vibration from the tom-toms.

The toms and snare drum are equipped with exclusive Mapex Powerhoops. Made from 2.3mm chrome steel, the Mapex Powerhoop provides flex resistance without adding unnecessary weight that may mute the drum.

The Pro M snare drum sports a 20-split-lug design for greater tuning precision and a sleek, contemporary look. All Pro M components have identical low-mass, single-point-of-contact lugs.
