This Pearl Vision VX905 5-Piece Drum Set is based on the original Vision drum formula. It features blended birch shells with variable 6/8-ply shell technology. Lower frequencies require greater energy to match the high frequencies and projection produced by smaller drums. Vision's combination of 6-ply rack toms and 8-ply floor toms and bass drums address this problem by delivering dynamically balanced sound.
