Supersonic Samples were created using boutique preamps, compressors, and industry standard mics and range from mildly to highly processed samples so you can find the right sounds for each song. You can dial up a nicely compressed and equalized sample, or a minimally-processed sample and tweak to your heart's content.

This sample library of Supersonic Samples gives you 15 snares and 68 variations. Most snares feature multiple processing levels with varying compression and EQ and up to 5 different velocity layers (8 heavy, 5 medium, 5 light, and 5 soft hits plus 3 rim shots). Several snare drums also feature cross-stick hits. Choose from every size of snare in any material, from big, deep, hammered bronze snares to piccolos to a 12" x 4-1/2" snare in maple, oak, brass, bronze, acrylic, and more. Snare samples are available with various levels of damping; choose snares with long, medium, or short decay. Also included in the Supersonic Sample Library: Snareside Swish (underside snare sound) and Crack & Swish (initial attack with swish) samples for layering. These samples are perfect for layering under a dead-sounding snare. Each has 4 velocity layers (5 heavy, 5 medium, 5 light, and 5 soft hits). When you want to keep the character of your snares, but you just can't get what you need from them, these are your ticket. Imagine adding a nice crack and a great decay to a dull snare without adding harsh noise from the hi-hat or cymbals or dealing with a gate. Blend to taste and move on.

Seven Kicks with 110 different variations

All of these kicks have multiple processing levels with varying compression, EQ, and even mic combinations. Most have an extended low end version for a larger-than-life, push-through-any-mix sound. All of the standard kicks have 2-3 different beater types (plastic, felt, and wood), giving you just the right attack for the song. Most standard kicks have several tunings for the right amount of punch and/or extended low end. Most kicks have 2 velocity levels (5 heavy and 3 medium hits). For contemporary music, hard and medium hits will cover all the bases. Some of the kick drum samples have both left- and right-foot hits for extra levels of realism for metal and heavy music in general. Some also have a blend of the snare resonance/buzz for added realism when soloed.

The SS Hybrid Blender kicks are specially formulated blends of real attack sounds and synthesized and/or real drum bodies. Some are great on their own, and some are specifically for blending under your current kick, resulting in a nice attack and punchy low end while keeping your own kick's character.

Three sets of toms with five variations

These toms are beautiful, punchy, and will work with just about any kit sound. There are two 4-piece fusion-style sets (8", 10", 12", 14"), one maple, and one birch/maple blend.
