Classic appeal in a beautifully crafted ESP bass.
The ESP Vintage-4 Bass Guitar is right down your alley, whether you play rock 'n' roll from the heyday
of the 60s and 70s, or if you just want a bass guitar that looks like it was built in that era. The bolt-on 4-string ESP
bass guitar is crafted with an alder body and a maple neck with either a maple or a rosewood fingerboard. Either way, the
Vintage-4 bass gives you a sturdily constructed lightweight bass that provides full, rich tones, excellent low and mid-range,
and great sustain.
Adding to the Vintage-4 bass' old-school look is a pickguard that covers more than half of the
top, stretching from the lower horn down to curl underneath the control knobs. ESP purposely designed the Vintage-4 to look
antiquated with simulated wear-and-tear on the body and headstock.
Providing the sound you're looking for are Seymour
Duncan Antiquity J (bridge) and P (neck) pickups with 3 control knobs to shape it even more. Making the Vintage-4 bass guitar
even more obliging to anyone who loves playing rhythm is it's thin "U" neck contour and double cutaway design for more access
to the 24 XJ frets. A 42mm bone nut, Gotoh bridge and tuners, as well ESP and dot inlays along the fretboard complete the
Vintage-4 bass package.
