The TASCAM SS-R05 is a compact recorder for installation and live recording. Its stripped-down design gives you the basics and reaches a price point within reach. Ideal for installation applications or houses of worship, the rackmountable recorder has unbalanced RCA analog in and out, as well as coaxial S/PDIF digital I/O.

The SS-R05 records 16-bit quality to Compact Flash cards in MP3 or WAV format. Control is available through a wired remote control. Contractor-friendly features include power-on play for music playback install and auto track increment by time or level for house of worship and meeting recording. A PS/2 keyboard input allows tracks to be named on the card.
