25/2/05 No, I'm not dead, just lazy. I've been working the last few months, which has left little time for music. The delay has been good in some respects though, I've picked up a few recording tricks that should make everything sound alot better. As it stands right now, I'm touching up the completed songs, and still have 2 songs remaining to do. I'm not setting a goal date, since I've done that twice already and missed both times, needless to say I'm hopful that I'll be done well within the next two months. 4/9/04 Well, the planned release date of early August has been and gone ;) This has been a bit of a learning curve, it's now looking like it shall be mid/late October when the album comes out. There are two songs left to do, rerecordings of a couple of older songs, "Scorned Forever" and "All I Felt Were Shadows". I might put up a couple of completed songs (with vocals) in a couple of weeks since everything is delayed (they will be unmastered though). It looks like the album will be around 48 minutes long, with 18 songs in all. 13/6/04 6 new samples from the upcoming album have been added to the MP3 section. 44 minutes worth of material has now been written, with about 50% of that having been recorded. 28/5/04 Site redesigned, online but still under construction. 26/5/04 Demo version of a new song is added to site.
Recent Developments: After finally getting sick of my 4-track tape deck, I upgraded my recording setup to digital, with a new soundcard (Audiophile 2496) and Cakewalk Home Studio 2004 XL. I was planning to do some studio recording, updating my demo tracks for eventual release as an album. Now that I have my own gear and get a decent result, I've elected to rely on home recording. The original album idea has also been scrapped, as a new concept has come up, so I am writing all-new material for my debut album, though a couple of old songs are expected to make it on there.
