I am the drummer in Kef, I started playing the drums about three to four years ago, in the practice rooms at Teesdale school, U.K, after seeing some other guy playing at school. I already had a habit of tapping along to songs all the time and thought I may as well put it to good use. I spent practically all my GCSE music lessons in the practice room, telling the teacher I was doing work, she even believed me when Matt, ( Guitarist in Kef, check out his page, If he's got round to writing anything yet…) came to join me with his guitar. Matt got B for music, I got a D.
Kef now practice at T.C.R studios in Barnard Castle, see links below. They have a Pearl Export series drumkit amongst other equipment. I also use //AHEAD alloy drumsticks, to see product line click link below. I use the Lars Ulich custom type. My main drumming influences include Lars Ulrich, of Metallica, and Dave Silveria, of Korn.
