Dennis worked all summer to buy his first set of drums, he was twelve years
old and the kit cost a whopping $85.00 of course that was 1967. He played in
a band with three other seventh graders .. "We learned 4 songs, and played
one time in front of people. I don't even remember the name of the band".
The Lead guitar player of that band went on to become one of Reno's most recognized guitar players.
I didn't play drums again until I was twenty-two.
I was asked to sit in and play a song for a friend that was in the STONE WALL band,
I ended up being in the band for over a year."
In 1980 he met his wife, Brenda. Married now for eighteen years, they have two beautiful girls, Stefaine and Samantha.
Dennis joined his brother-in-laws Jim and Phil in the Band "The Goo" in 1999.
"I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful family and to be in a Rock & Roll band, I'm living my dream."
Dennis is also is the owner of Wallie's Drive Inn and serves "the best hamburgers in town."
