With the Aluminum Vintage Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece, Peter Ponzol has faithfully re-created the dark, husky, free-blowing sound of the famous vintage mouthpieces. Since it is made of aluminum it is lighter weight, but yields more projection and response without sacrificing the tone. A CNC lathe is used to cut the mouthpiece s basic shape. Then the mouthpiece is hand finished and tested for the right sound and feel. Included with the mouthpiece is a Rovner ligature and cap.
