A Jazzmaster that should have existed but didn't - until now.
This Jazzmaster Masterbuilt is a one-off from The Fender Custom Shop crafted by Master Builder Dennis
Gaulszka.
Dennis took the design of a '70s Jazzmaster and built a guitar that didn't exist but he felt should have.
He put on a 3-bolt Micro Tilt neck on the Jazzmaster to help increase the pitch of angle of the strings to increase downward
pressure on the he bridge - a mod that Jazzmaster players used to accomplish by inserting shims underneath the neck join.
'70s details include the large headstock with '70s decal and bullet rod. The Jazzmaster single-coil pickups replicate the
specs of genuine '59 Jazzmaster pickups. This pickup voicing is only available on by Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt guitars.
Dennis says the pickups sound unbelievable, especially in the middle position "that hits you in the face like a big soundfoot."
