Beautiful appointments, range in movement, and strength in design makes this heavenly Angelus cutaway
the guitar of your dreams.
The PRS Angelus Cutaway Standard Acoustic-Electric guitar delivers unusual volume and bass and has balance
atypical of acoustic cutaway guitars. Though extraordinarily well-suited for finger style players, the Angelus guitar is versatile
enough for many kinds of music. The cutaway adds comfort when accessing the higher frets, so you can have full access to the
standard Angelus guitar's range.
Paul Reed Smith chose European spruce for the Angelus guitar's top—a rare and
highly desirable wood known for its rich, sensitive tone, brilliant harmonic overtones, and light appearance. Mahogany back
and sides produce thick dynamic sound, with a good balance of fundamentals and overtones for higher-register soloing.
mahogany neck adds a slight softness to the PRS Angelus guitar's well-rounded tone. The set neck maintains the guitar's structural
integrity, so there's no drop-off in tone. You hear the full richness of this amazing guitar with every strum. The sleek-looking
cocobolo bridge and fingerboard offer lasting sustain.
The wide-neck, 1-3/4" nut width, and 12" radius offer comfort
for intricate movements along the guitar's 21 frets. Robson hand-machined tuners keep the Angelus guitar precisely in tune.
A PRS acoustic pickup system provides easy amplification and natural emulation of the guitar's tone. The volume knob
is mounted just inside the soundhole. The onboard preamp uses two 9-volt batteries to provide massive headroom that's highly
useful in live situations. You can play hard and crank it up loud without fear of overdriving the preamp or distorting.
in a luxurious nitrocellulose finish and enhanced with aluminum/bronze hardware, highly decorative fingerboard inlays, body
binding, and rosette design, the Angelus guitar will cause a commotion every time you take it out of the case. The Angelus
epitomizes PRS' painstaking attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, and use of sought-after woods, to produce a guitar
that looks as beautiful as it sounds. It'll be love at first strum.
