The Paul Reed Smith Private Stock Department has been creating breathtaking instruments since 1996 and the Private Stock CU24 Semi-Hollow electric guitar is no exception. This exquisite guitar offers brilliant acoustic qualities for a thin line hollow electric. Features include a choice curly maple top in an exciting tiger eye smoked burst finish, a mahogany back, and a mahogany neck. The 24-fret rosewood fingerboard is dressed with PRS modern style birds made of mammoth ivory with paua outlines, and has a fast wide thin neck profile and a 25" scale. A tremolo bridge on a semi-hollow electric gives a creative voice all your own. PRS 14:1 Phase II low mass locking tuners are smooth, accurate, and extremely stable.

The Private Stock CU24 Semi-Hollow has been loaded with outstanding aesthetic appointments such as a Private Reserve eagle headstock inlay made of mammoth ivory with a paua outline, curly maple binding; gold hardware; ebony headstock underlay and truss rod cover; classic "F" soundholes; controls that are set further down the lower bout; and a lustrous high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish.

The PRS 59/09' pickups features exclusive wire produced on the original machine used to make the classic '50s era pickups. This humbucker is slightly darker and more powerful in the bridge with a touch more clarity and brightness in the neck. Controls include volume, tone, and 3-way pickup selector toggle.
