The Shadow Nanoflex Pickup preamp has phase invert switch, volume, bass and treble control to adjust your individual acoustic sound. Phase switch inverts the signal and cancels the overall feedback.

SH P3B NFX has a integrated, easily accessible 9V battery compartment. Completely shielded, the pickup is 100% hum-free. It comes with a Nanoflex pickup and an endpin connection.

Nanoflex pickups do not only take the vibrations of the strings like common undersaddle pickups. Nanoflex senses the vibrations of the strings AND the body of the instrument simultaneously. This gives the equivalent of having a condenser-microphone mixed with an undersaddle pickup. No other technology gives you this high level of sound reproduction.

The pickup's flexible sensor, made of 7 different, specially chosen material layers is capable of registering the pressure of the bridge saddle which transmits the string vibrations and at the same time the vibrations and movements of the instrument's soundboard precisely and absolutely accurately.

To protect this pure, natural acoustic sound, Shadow developed a unique technology that amplifies and protects the sound signal directly on the pickup. Unlike other pickups, the Nanoflex pickup signal is not passing through even a single millimeter of the wire and therefore eliminates environmental disturbances before the connection cable.

Due to active amplification directly at the pickup and 100% shielding of the entire system, no sound will be lost and no hum created. This is the difference from any other pickup technology.

The term "Nanoflex" comes from the thickness of the pickup and the fact that the pickup is flexible so that it conforms to the shape of the instrument. This assures that you get the fullest pickup contact.
