W.
Nirschl
It's like 2 horns in one.
The W. Nirschl H-700LQ dual-use trombone is perfect for a working musician or an aspiring musician looking
for an affordable and versatile professional horn. The special mouthpipe system effectively changes the trombone from a symphony
tenor trombone with bass shank to a commercial sound and feel with a tenor shank.
Recognizing a need for a working
musician's trombone, the design team at W. Nirschl has created the first trombone versatile enough to go from symphony orchestra
or concert band to recording studio and night club. This was accomplished with an innovative detachable mouthpipe system that
accommodates 2o different venturi tubes. One tube accommodates a bass shank mouthpiece and is well suited to symphony and
concert band. The alternate venturi tube starts with a small bore tenor shank and gradually tapers into the larger bore of
the trombone, requiring a longer, carefully graduated mouthpipe. Without changing instruments or handslides, these different
tubes provide the player the support and resistance previously available only with small bore tenor trombones or smaller handslides.
