This BC rich is equipped with some serious hardware.
The B.C. Rich Mockingbird Archtop Electric Guitar boasts a strong and solid mahogany body and neck,
neck-thru construction, ebony fretboard with 24 jumbo frets, Rockfield pickups, Tune-o-matic-style bridge, and that killer
archtop body design.
The use of a ceramic magnet gives the Rockfield humbucking pickups extra power due to the increased
magnetic field that they provide. This feature makes the Mafia pickups produce a hotter and thicker tone that's really aggressive
and full. The increased low end and thick mids and in your face highs is what rock and roll was built on. Balanced and full
of sustain this pickup is a great representation of its namesake, a truly intimidating killer.
The Tune-o-matic-style
bridge consists of 2 adjustable posts that are screwed into the guitar body and a bar between these posts. The bar has 6 saddles,
one per string. Each string sits astride a saddle and the saddle thus "marks" the end of the vibrating string. Each saddle
can be adjusted (moved back and forward) with a screw to control intonation.
