About:
"In the beginning Tigers Can Bite You was totally about just having fun with some friends and getting these new songs out of my head," singer/guitarist Dave Woody says of the band he formed after fronting Modesto's Fiver for ten years. Fleshing out the lineup with drummer Andrew Platts and keyboardist Cindy Morrow, the band earned an opening slot for the Silversun Pickups at the Troubadour.

Since that blockbuster show, the band has become a staple of LA's Silverlake scene, playing with the likes of Division Day, Sea Wolf, and the Airborne Toxic Event.

TCBY have separated themselve from their contemporaries (and even their influences) with a unique sound that combines that electronics of M83 with Death Cab-like melodies.
Equipment:
Cindy uses a Yamaha CS1-x keyboard through a GK bass head with a 4x10 cabinet and a Roland keyboard and amp set up. Dave alternates between an ESP X-Tone and an Ibanez semi-hollow through a Fender 1x12 deluxe amp. His pedal set up is pretty simple - just a death rattle III through a Marshall reflector pedal.

Andrew had his drum kit custom built.

We also use a yamaha sampler occasionally.
