Well, as an independently recorded album, it
was pretty decent. The vocals got lost most of the time.
Other than that, this is a very creative album; though, only
to a small degree. I only say that because the entire recording
was probably done on the same day, the guitar sound doesn’t
ever change except between clean and a heavy fuzz distortion.
If you are in to indie-garage style rock, this is for you.
It’s exactly that. I can hear some early Seattle grunge influence
(I’ll leave the band name guessing to you). Listening to
this band reminds me of the demos I used to get when I was
booking for the venue. It was one of those things where you
had to give them a show…they at least went through the trouble
of recording a CD! Of course the show would either be opening
for some one else, or just playing on a Tuesday night or
something. These guys have away to go, but I like the direction
they are heading.
