OnlineRock was founded in 1999 as an interactive music community providing tools and services for musicians. We have provided quality content relevant to the music industry for over ten years. Nearly 90% of our visitors are musicians looking for new ideas to promote their music and learn about gear, products and services. The rest are die-hard music fans looking to discover new bands and innovative music.
With an average of 20,000 page views per day OnlineRock can offer advertisers a unique opportunity to market directly to our music community. OnlineRock also sends a monthly newsletter to subscribers keeping them informed with up-to-date changes to the site and alerting them to stories and services we think they would find valuable.
In addition to our own marketing strategies, OnlineRock has received a number of favorable press write-ups. Guitar Player Magazine, Canadian Musician, the Los Angeles Times and Music Connection have all discovered our music community to help us reach a larger audience.
OnlineRock has been successful in promoting the advertising messages of our sponsors. Recently we tied in a product giveaway with a sponsor of our Sounding Board and it worked very well for the up-and-coming recording software company. According to a survey of our members, in the next 12 months they plan on spending an average of nearly $3,000 each on equipment and services. Furthermore, 85% of those surveyed said that they are likely to support a sponsor of OnlineRock.
