Once you put on Vini and the Demons’ self-titled debut you realize you’re in for a heavy dose of the blues. These guys play it loud and proud. What’s more, they play it well, old school. So much so that they recently made the big move from FLA to Chicago in the tradition of many Blues predecessors.

This album covers the spectrum, so it’s rockin’ hard one minute, then slowing to a whisky-laced crawl the next. But with Skibo Demon’s harmonica chugging along to Vini D’s guitar and vocals, the other Demons supplying the rhythm, it’s good fare all the way through. For blues addicts out there, take a listen to Vini and the Demons and get your fix of Chicago blues.

Favorite Track: Track 8, "Sittin’ on Top of the World"
