Gregory Paul Group Releases "Spirit
and Decibels" on OnlineRock Records
Celebrations Planned throughout New York State
SAN CARLOS, Calif., Nov 18, 2002 - The highly-anticipated
CD entitled "Spirit and Decibels" from the Gregory
Paul Group, one of America's finest up-and-coming indie bands
is now available. The new CD marks a significant milestone
in the groups growing legacy. It also marks the group's first
release on their newly signed label, OnlineRock Records.
Billboard Magazine describes the Gregory Paul
Group from New York as "a hybrid of atmospheric ambience
and powerful acoustics." Michelle Picardo of FREETIME
Magazine adds "Tracks like "Do It To Myself,"
as well as "And Begin" radiate with lovely charm,
while also rocking with gentle and infectious aplomb, in a
manner like British acts Coldplay or Travis. Whereas "Ocean"
is catchy pop with jangly guitars reminiscent of REM's Fables
of the Reconstruction days."
The Group kicks off a weekend of celebrations
with an in-studio performance and interview at WHRW 90.5 FM
in Binghamton, New York at 2:30 PM on Friday, November 22nd.
At 9:00 PM that evening, the group will take the stage at
Cyber Café West located at 176 Main Street in Binghamton.
On Saturday the 23rd of November at 2:30 PM,
the Gregory Paul Group's next stop will be an in-store performance
and CD signing at the Record Archives at 1880 East Avenue
in their home-town of Rochester, New York. The weekend caps
off with a headline show at The Club at Water Street at 8:00
PM located at 204 North Water Street in Rochester with supporting
act Seven Head Division.
"Spirit and Decibels" is now available
at the OnlineRock Web site, at the group's live performances,
