About:

About: Emma's Ringer is a 2-man band consisting of Scott McCooeye (keyboards, synth) and Scott Maybee (vocals, guitars, bass). Composing music generally on a darker spectrum with an emphasis on aggressive vocals, distorted keyboards and electronic drums. Formally outfitted as a full ensemble band, both members recently reunited together after a 7-year hiatus to reinvent much of the original music of the band.

During the 7-year break, each member went through significant highs and lows. Scott McCooeye fell through a string of financial and substance abuse problems , while Scott Maybee fell in and out of a long term relationship, at times battling alcoholism and depression. These themes are prominent in their first EP "The Spirits Will Guide", with the album starting with personal downfall in "Heart Bomb" and ending with global retribution in "Xeno".

With the addition of a live drummer, the band is now ready to start booking live shows throughout Ottawa and Toronto to create a name for itself, while promoting "The Spirits Will Guide"...
